transmission doesn't shift

Hi,

I tuned up Dodge Challenger R/T '70
Bought almost everything together with customizable transmission.

I can't access any settings in the transmission menu apart from max speed
and during racing the car doesn't shift higher than the 5th gear. There should be at least 6 gears if not more. What's up with that?

Adjusting max speed is the only option you have, there is no way of adjusting individual gear ratios.

I haven't driven my Challenger yet, so I don't know how many gears it has, some cars only get 5 gears, even with the top spec custom gearbox. Where you adjust a cars top speed will also verfiy whether it's a 5sp or a 6sp, check to see how many gears come with the uprated transmission.
 
If the car starts of with 4 gears (as the Challenger does) the racing transmission option only adds 1 more. So 5 is all you've got.

Max speed is also all you can change on any car. Individual gear ratios are there, but are not selectable.
 
Some cars may have the optional 6 speed close ratio tranny and some will not. Adjustable tranny will pretty much always be either a 5 speed or a 6 speed depending on the car. Perhaps 7 speed in a select few.

As said none can have the gears adjusted at this point only the top speed. Hoepfully this will change in a future patch.

Would also be nice to be able to adjust the final drive when using the close ratio tranny.
