hey, ive been trying so hard for a while and i managed to link-drift turn 3 to turn 4 on trial mountain. its a massive link probably the biggest possible drift in the game! ( along with apricot hill turn 1-2)
and it was reallllllyyyy hard!
i dont have any way of recording my drifts so i challenge you all to hold a drift from turn 3 to 4 on trial mountain and capture it on vid!

if ur really gutsy and think u got skill then do it like i did with a car under 420hp!!
good luck.

there are many here who can do it.

bustwave is especially good at the extraordinarily long drifts.

heh. :p

but i still dont get where it is. can anyone point it out. i might give it a wizz if i know where and how long it is

I tinhk he means the first two turns after the finish line at Trial Mountain. It used to be hard for me but I can do it in pretty much any car now.

Trial Mountain 1 (forward direction)
its the bend that starts before the small tunnel and leads into the corner tunnel.
ul know it when u see it

That ones easy. But yes it is a very long drift The only other longer drift i know of is the super speedway cicuit

after the finish like like on the way back down the hill all the way to the tunnel right... i have never don'e that... never really put forth an effort...

from that tunnel turn all the way to the little sharp corner?

:EDIT: im goin to go try right now. will edit later. hehe

the trial mountain long drift is def. not easy and thats becasue it's odd J shaped while super speedway is C shaped...

Hahahahaha.... I feel that was directed at me, yet I've been here the longest out of everyone in this thread. Maybe the n00b should explain himself better?

din't mean it offensively:D
ive just grown used to using that word alot. anyways...has anyone recorded a drift of that yet????

i need more hp then if im gonna make it from 3 to 4... what car are u usinf becasuse i make it ablout half maybe before the damn cars starts to catch grip...i've onlt been close when i kept the rear tires on the dirt and rumble strip but still ended up short...i'll have to try the FC...

i use my S15 specR with super slicks, and i drop the rubber on the dirt for a short bit, u have to really go wide and be VERY percise, then just floor it through the tunnel and if ur angle is good and ur car is light the hill out of the tunnel lets you lose even more traction allowing a slide all the way out of the tunnel to the little sharp corner thats next!! now if one can link from that corner to the snake turns in the rocky area then following the drift all the way through the tunnel and linking into the straight one has probably mastered the most difficult drift line in gt3.
turn 3 to 4 is (to me) THE hardest drift in the game, ive mastered all other links...

i still dont get it :odd:

:EDIT: ohh i got it. and zam. that is totally impossible. dont you know the physics of GT3 uphill= SLOW. drifting uphill = UHM LEAVE IT ALONE. unless you will let me try with my GT-ONE.

how do u NOT get that???
tell me what it is you dont get, ill explain...
:EDIT: OHH ok u get it haHA, umm yah it IS actually possible BUT that is why i think it is the single MOST DIFFICULT drift line in all of GT3. it is EXTREMELY difficult and i cannot count how many times i had to try it and i doubt alot of ppl on this forum can actually do it BUT PROVE ME WRONG!!!!!!!!

sure hahaha i was just saying it is more "skillfull" if someone can do it in a sub-500hp car, where it would rely on your angle and dirt drop skills rather than your power keeping the wheels spinning along the upslope

:EDIT: OH and if you DO do it with ur GTone, FILM it!!! i wanna see some footage of other ppl stickin that line!

i've done it many times in my 322hp 180sx, and my S14 and my S13 as well. i think i've done it in an FD too. its not that hard if you use ebrake wisely.
