Why did they flip the Trial Mountian track image upside down? It's always bugged me since they did this. There must be a logical explanation for it or because it's PD there isn't one?

It looked fine the way it was and now it always looks, well, upside down!

In the back of my head, I knew something looked different, but I never thought about it enough to figure out what. This is it. It really doesn't bother me one way or the other, but I will now wonder Why?. Maybe it's a directional (N/E/S/W) thing?

Someone has way too much time on their hands ;-)

With all the other issues with PD and GT6 this would have to rate pretty close to the bottom of the list to actually care about.

My $0.02

I haven't noticed till now. Someone at PD messing with our heads... maybe even the illuminati... ;)

I think it is the N,S,E,W thing. Will have to look where the sun sits. It's a pity it doesn't have Dynamic time change that would make it a lot easier to differentiate.

I really do not care which way the track looks in that respect. In my ideal world, the track would be facing the way so that the start/finish straight would be facing up on the map, like this:

Haha. I know, it's a trivial thing but it's the kind of thing that's been bugging me for ages. I don't really have too much time on my hands as its took a few years to me to ask. I think it's been like that since at least GT4.

That was my first thought but with it being a fictional track I sort of dismissed that idea.

Oh no. That looks even worse!

No sorry i have been pretty Hectic. I will try to do it tonight. Could be difficult as you mentioned above that its an artificial Track. What I plan to do is look at the the map position on that map to where the sun sits, then rinse & repeat on a fictional track with time shift and a real world track with time shift.

I'm presuming (probably a big mistake) that the map sits in a standard configuration. Like the top of the map points north or something. Just at work at the moment so I have a few hours to go.
