Whut car should i use to race in this race...it REALLY sux that u cant use a f1 car? After i buy or get in the car..should i do any upgrades???

I haven't run this Enduro. What is the competition driving?

You can only use stock cars in this enduro. If I can recall the competition is quite good if you use an equivalent car which are Japanese 280bhp cars (Skyline, supra, nsx, RX-7) its quite fun :)

And if you don't like having fun, get an XJ220! :smilewink

Here's the stats from when i did it:

TRIAL MOUNTAIN 2 HOURS
Car used: Chevrolet Camaro SS [stock]
Got 1st place on lap: 4
First Pit-stop: Lap 13
Fastest lap set on: Lap 23
Fastest lap: 1:34.792
Overtook last placed car on lap: 20
Overtook second placed car on lap: 50
Total number of pits: 5
Total race laps: 73
Total time taken: 2 hours 1:14.346
Car won: Lister Storm V12 Race Car

More of my game stats: http://gtsc.netfirms.com/gt3stats.htm

Get the Toyota GT1 road car that has 600 hp and have a blast.

I remember getting so far ahead, that I went and ate dinner while the clock was still ticking and still won the race by many laps

Yea Earth the :toyota: GT1 is the best car to use in that Enduro, I made mistake of using :ruf: CTR2, took ages :banghead:.....

How many Laps is it again? :curvyrd:

I can't beleive how many people cheat at this game. It really disapoints me to know that most people want to try to find the easy way out.

Its not technically "cheating", the GT-One is a road car of sorts ... but I agree that using such a vehicle does remove 99.9% of the fun from the Game... I personally hate the damn thing...

I'd use an NSX S Zero for it myself...

It's a real challenge with a Chevy Camaro SS too. Well worth a try.

Its a timed 2 hour race, I forgot how many laps I completed, I didnt drive 25% of the two hour race anyways

Isn't it a 2 hour Enduro? So wouldn't it take two hours whether you are driving a Suzuki Alto, RUF or a GTOne?

hmmm he probably meant that he had to redue the race several times

me shrugs shoulders

Not technically cheating, no. But certainly unrealistic. Cars are very carefully classed and rules are very carefully written and enforced in the name of fair competition. Did you know that in amateur racing, the technical stewards routinely tear down the engines of the top 3 finishers after a race to make sure they are in compliance with the strict preparation rules?

While the "rules" of GT3 do allow you to enter, say, the 787B in the Beginner MR races, I don't really think that's in the spirit of the game at all. Why cheat yourself, even if you're not cheating the game?

I agree with you Neon, you should use a car of similar spec to the race winner / 2nd / 3rd place.

However, if it's ticking you off, that isn't fun, at which pint dust off the GTone and just thrash the lot of 'em.

To some people a two hour race may not be fun. Don't know yet. Will get to the enduro's after i've done the majority of Pro level I guess.

I've been thinking of doing a enduro, Trial Mountain for example, with a car that has no hope at all of winning. i.e. Mini Cooper.

Well I have a GT-ONE road car and I'm never afraid to use it. Besides you do not have any choice but to use fast untuned road cars like the GT-ONE road car. I have not run the Trial Mt. endurance though.

Well if your into fair competition buy TOCA Race Driver?
I liked the restrictions of :gt: 2....

Well you could argue :argue: that you have to use a competitve car :car: in the early stages of playing :gt:3, after all you can't afford anything else :2cents:.... And then once the race is complete and you've got the cup :gldmedal: and you decide to go back to it with a :mazda: 7B7B later on so be it........ the race has already been completed..... :curvyrd:

Do you get my point? :D

Somebody's having a bit too much fun with the smileys, I see... ;)

But anyway, I'd have to agree with the notion that you should at least try to win with a car thats close to the competition first. I've actually found that using an overpowered car in the enduros makes it feel like more of a chore, because there's almost nothing stopping you from winning.

Now that's a good idea!

I'm up for a bit of Cooper thrashing, not so sure about an enduro but pro level FF series racing? Pick a course i'll post my times, bonus points for shunts and spins!

Only rule - you must use stock tyres!

:lol

I too am of the thought process that you pick a car that just barely gives you the win. I just completed the GT All stars Amateur in a C5R with Medium tires. Very tight races. Some I passed for the lead on the final straights.

As For the Trial mtn. Enduro

I took the Lancer Evolution VI GSR, added Super slicks and an Oil change.
ASM = 4; TCS = 1

Faced off against:

Mazda RX-7 Type RZ(J): 71 laps (31+ seconds behind me)
Supra RZ(J): 71 laps
Impreza WRX STI(J): 69 laps
Skyline GT-R Vspec II (R32, J): 68 Laps
Lancer Evolution VII(J): 68 laps

AI Pitted on laps: 23, 46, 69
I pitted on laps: 12, 24, 37, 49 (27.152sec lead) and 61 (32.371sec lead).

The lead changed hands 8 times, in the first 22 laps. I took the lead on lap 22, lost it on Lap 25 due to dropping time in the pit. I regained it on 32, lost it when I pitted on Lap 37. I regained it again on Lap 44 and held it for the remainder of the race. The closest 2nd place managed after this point was 9.5XX seconds.

Side Bar: Lap 58 was a 1’41.000, Interesting.

As an additional adventure in this race, I began to take advantage of drifting into the tight corners, and blasting out of them. By kicking the tail out slightly just as I entered the corner, I was able to exit at a much higher speed.

Best Lap: 1’38.466
Total Time: 120’37.264
Average Lap: 1’41.933
Total Laps: 71

I encountered Lap Traffic on Lap: 21

This netted me 150,000cr and the Mine’s skyline.
