I'm running this race sometime in the next few days. My choices of cars are the Aston Martin Vanquish or the Nissan Z Concept. From searching through previous posts I can win it with no problems in the Vanquish (yes, GG, I know).

Will the Z conpcept make it through? Medium/hard tires, and an oil change.

I also have an NSX Type Zero, Camaro SS and an RX-7 Infini III.

This will end up in my strategy guide in the near future, so I'm hoping to pick a car that "Just barely" wins.

Thanks,
AO

Hmmm... different forum, same question... ;) :D hehe.

I ran this with a Skyline R34 and that was very easy, so I'm guessing a Z Concept would be pretty similar. It's one of those enduro's where you can pit much later than the opposition so the only way you're going to make it closer is to drop the power or run softer slicks. Apart from that I'm not much help.

i would suggest the r34 or z06.

possibly the zonda or xj220 if u got cash to spare.

Yes, same question different forums. I tend to frequent this more than the other, but I wanted as many opinions as I could get before running this one. I've found a broader range of more knowledgeable people over here. The other was quite good, until it shut down for a bit, and lost quite a few regulars.

On topic, I've heard of the Mustang winning, and the Camaro SS winning. I'm going to run 10-15 laps to see how the Z does first, then try the SS, and haev the Type Zero as a back-up.

Troy: Thanks for the input, but I'm making an attempt with the cars that I have. I did find many different choices for cars that win easily when I searched the forum.

Try the S2000 or the Silvia Spec R-Aero. I did a race with the S2000 and very narrowly lost to the NSX. When I used the Silvia for the first few laps, I saw that it would be able to win. But that was at Seattle Circuit, so I don't know how it would fair at 9 other tracks.

I'm running this tonight in the Camaro SS w/ oil change and Super slicks. I'll post the write-up tomorrow.

Any last thoughts for a car to keep the race close?

The easiest car to run this race with is the Toyota GT-ONE Road Car (which is easily won in the Average American League). This is the best normal car you can ever get. I won this Trial Mt. with ease (lapped comp by about 20 laps), by the way Polyphony Cup is also very, very easy with this car, just don't forget to slap on the Super-slick tires.

I did this race over hte weekend. Lancer VI GSR w/ Super slicks. Wach for the write-up.
