Hey guys/girls!

I've been doing a search around the site, but nothing came up.
Is there a way to "trigger" certain cars you want to drive against in Arcade Mode?

I want to drive against those expensive 20m cars for example, so i don't have to buy them just to make photos.

Any help is appreciated!

So it just comes down to luck mostly? :D
I thought using a car with similar PP might help :)
It could help, but the game generally just uses the most generic cars. I have only ever seen these cars as AI in the classic race car series for GT5.

I raced against a Miura twice afaik, but i'm not sure if that was an online weekly event..

I'm sure there was a thread back in the early days of GT6 regarding which cars triggered particular make of AI opponents. IIRC there was some success with GT3 and GT300/500 classes, but after so many updates I'm not so sure anymore! Like you, for photomode, I wanted to race an alfa TZ Carazzatto against the Fezza GTO at Sierra - it took a few times to get the GTO AI. The Escudo was in every one however!!!! Lately it has felt more random.

Exactly, and the Escudo doesn't really look nice at random locations xD However i did find a classic supercar comp in Carreer mode for the miura now!

You just answered the thread.

The classic car races. You'll get a different lineup every time you enter. It shouldn't take long to find most of them.

YES! Just found pretty much every expensive car there is in the International B in carreer. Classic supercar races and classic racecars. Thanks!!

Only six series that support it.

GT3, Respective karts, GT500, GT300, Formula cars, and Nascar.
And the Chaparral 2X and any of the Red Bull cars will result in a one-make race, but then you'd be photographing cars that you already have.

By the way, do the AI cars look as good as the player's car in photomode? I've noticed that the AI premium cars don't have detailed interiors, but are the exteriors downgraded in any way? I've never really photographed AI cars up close.

They look same to me from outside...

I had noticed that there were more AI in standard cars than in premiums - I guess standards take up less processing power!
