Trillian update, AIM not working?

I know it's not in the computer section, but this is urgent.

I got home from school today and turned the computer on, I load up Trillian and then I see that my AIM isn't working on it, only my MSN. Then I go to try out Gaim or ' Pidgin ' now, then I tried AIM Express, then AIM 5.9 but nothing else. None of those wouldn't let me log-in to my screen name. I'm really worried because I have 300+ contacts on that screen name and about 250 are really important :nervous:

If some one could please help me out with what's the problem right now? Thanks a lot,

Try signing on with a different screen name. I dunno what's up with Trillian. A few weeks ago when my Mac Book pro was in the shop getting a fan replaced, I had to use Trillian on my IBM, and it would not let me sign onto MSN with my gmail account, so I had to go create a hotmail account in order to sign on. Weird stuff.
 
Well, MSN works fine and dandy, but the AIM won't even connect. I downloaded regular AIM and it still wouldn't let on. It said ' fail to login '.

I just tried signing in with another AIM name in Trillian, and still nothing. Now I just think it's their data base or something.
 
I was having trouble with AIM last night, but it has been fine all today and tonight.
 
Dunno. Maybe whatever Trillian uses to connect to the AIM network is borked. Just use AIM and your problem is fixed for the time being. Have you checked trillian.cc?

And I don't know, but if Trillian's AIM is borked, then Miranda IM, GAIM or ' Pidgin ', the classic AIM 5.9. My AIM account ONLY works for the new one, that's about it.
 
Um, trillian.cc is the official Trillian website, lol.

Maybe they did something to disable all connections except those made via AIM 6.1 or whatever the latest is.
