I setting up a triple screen Forza 4 setup.

To avoid issues with DLC on the side screens and i don't want to buy every DLC three times, i set up all three consoles with the SAME xbox live account.

Now i can download the DLC on the side consoles without paying extra.

To activate the DLC on the side consoles you have to log in to xbox live.

If i do it like this , the dlc is working on the side consoles:

Start up left console, log in to live, startup the game
Start up right console, log in to live (left console automatically logs out of life), startup the game
Start up the center console, log in to live, start up the game (right console automatically logs out)

Logging into live activates the DLC on the side consoles, so i do not have the black VW on the side screens.

Again only using one xbox live account.

This involves a lot of loggin in and out and switching consoles with one profile.

Will this get me banned or not?

I doubt you'll be banned for this. I mean the game allows it and it's all on the same profile so why would it ban you? I have 3 X360s but only 1 copy of the game (and only 1 screen so far) but I thought I read somewhere that the DLC and main game runs on your 'primary' system and the other 2 are just piggy backs.

In other scenarios, using an Xbox LIVE account (especially with signs of repeated logins) on several consoles will definitely get your account looked at. In the last couple of updates for Xbox LIVE, some of the smaller updates in fact involved ways to control such activity. Hackers were sharing Xbox LIVE accounts for DLC, etc. Plenty of people have been banned since Microsoft realized and are constantly monitoring accounts with signs of such activity.

I suggest you try to contact Turn 10 and/or Microsoft on the best way to deal with your situation.

The above information is factual, just so you know. I'm an Xbox LIVE Ambassador and such information was disclosed to us.

That is all unnecessary.

Downloading all the free cars from each of the packs to the side consoles is all you need to do. That will make all the cars from each pack visible on the side consoles without having to pay 3 times for the DLC

Then you won't need to risk being banned or go through all that logging in every time you want to play.

The Free 2011 BMW Download contains all the Car info from the launch bonus and muscle car packs btw

I just got off the phone with microsoft : Switching between consoles with the same profile will not get me banned or tagged for ban.

@I'm Motarded:

I'm not talking about FREE DLC, but paid DLC like pre-order packs en limited edition car packs.
To get paid DLC working on the side consoles, you need to be logged into live otherwise you get a black VW on the side screens instead of the DLC car.

@eSZee

Yes if you do like that, DLC works on all consoles and you only have to buy it one time.

I know you're not talking about free DLC, but I am.

The Free DLC contains the FULL data for each car pack. If you have that you don't need to download the paid car pack for each side console to avoid them displaying the VW jetta. As I said before, the VIP and limited edition car data is contained in the Free 2011 BMW M5 Download. The file size is huge that's how you can tell.

Using this method means only your main console needs to be logged into live.

There's already a thread about this here somewhere.

Here it is http://www.forzaplanet.net/forum/showthread.php?p=6813#post6813

Well that's good, you don't have to worry about that part then. :lol:
