Trophy Synchronisation - Takes like forever

Hello GTPlanet PS3 user,

trophy synchronisation takes like forever - for me.

Every time when I want to check my trophies (GT6 at the moment) my PS3 starts to synch my account`s trophies. At the moment it is unbelievable slow. By slow I mean: started 25 minutes ago - 20% done.
Grabbed some food in the meantime - now I`ll cancel that 🤬

Any suggestions? What determinates trophy synch speed?

I`m at PSN level 15 right now.

I think it depends on what you all earned from the last sync. I know if you don't sync often all the trophies you earned from last sync to now would have to be set up (which could take a long time if you play lots of games and get lots of trophies (or if you sync for the first time ever))
 
Well, I considered that. I synched GT6 trophies already. Only one game more was added (Beyond Two Souls) and I think there are about 10-15 trophies not synched.
 
Could also be your connection speed - PS4 trophy synch is very swift, but the PS3 has always been slow. Like TJ13 says though, frequently updating helps reduce the amount of time it normally takes. You can also turn off the functionality after a recent update, so it checks on the console without going online.
 
If you are a plus member, there is a feature that will automatically sync your trophies at set times. It is like Ron Popeil said, set it and forget it.
