MY mom got a new laptop recently, and for it to connect to the internet we needed a new router. After some trouble with one router, her laptop can now connect, and I'm using this, through an ethernet cable, to connect my 360 to XBOX Live. However, though it can connect, it constantly says my NAT type is strict. UPnP is enabled on the router, and I've set virtual ports with ports 80 and 3074 as suggested all over the internet. However, I'm unsure what IP address this should be sent to, the laptop or the XBOX (after all the laptop is the one connecting to the internet) and what other settings I need to enable. The router is a Belkin N, just purchased new today, and the laptop is running Windows 7. Any help would be greatly appreciated, and possibly rewarded by my ability to play Forza with you. ;)

Try the latest firmware from Belkin as a starting point. Make sure you get the correct firmware for your particular version of the router.
