Trouble with sport mode

Nearly every time I enter a race in sport mode everything seems fine up until the final begins. Once the participants names are listed on the screen the sportsmanship bars are all black and when the warm up begins I'm the only one on the track. The race starts and all the participants cars stay stationary except for mine. It'll update the standings and fastest lap like the race is going on but everyone's cars are still sitting at the starting line. Any help or ideas on this problem?

Have you tried deleting your temp network files?

It sounds like you have connection issues. My guess is that everyone else on the track either doesn't see you, or if they do see you, you're lagging all over the place and causing some chaos. From the sport mode menu where the 3 daily races are listed, there is a function to "test connection quality." I recommend trying that to make sure you have a good ping before entering more races.
