trouble with XIII

on the mission where you have to plant a microphone on an intercom in the beige tent...i cant quite figure out what i am doing wrong. i killed all 4 gaurds (3 patrolling and 1 in the tower) i hid all three patrolling gaurd bodies and when i go to plant the microphone..as soon as i do the alarm sounds as if i have been spotted or something. i dont know what i am doing wrong here. does anyone know? thanks.
 
i havent played xiiiin a while but make sure you dont go out the front of the tent even if u killed all the guards before u go in because there is a secret meeting and if they see u they run away and u fail.make sure u crouch under the windows in the tent to avoid being seen.
 
you dont have to kill all the guards, just the 1 in the tower will do, enter from the back and go back once the mic is planted.
