This is the only image they show right now. It is showing on Yahoo's main page at the moment.

Volvos have gotten up to 2,000,000, right?

and that's nothing compared to what most OTR trucks and Diesel Locomotives get...XD

I used to have a Mustang in which the odo only went up to 99,999 kms. Every 4 years I had a new car!

I wonder how much Chevy paid to get this story frontpage on Yahoo.

1 Million miles is alot to behold--especially when you SEE a 6 digit odometer roll over from 999,999. I thought my Camaro has alot of miles @ 241,800. Its a reletive baby compared to these guy's 1,000,000 mile vehicles.

When you get to the million mile mark and the odometer rolls over, you probably have a new car with all the parts you would have had to replace to hit that milestone :dopey:.

These two guys should have their trucks displayed @ the Smithsonian.

I guess some people must run numbers like this, put it on a rolling road bring it to its 99999 max or whatever than wind it to a new or decent level mileage...:grumpy: Would take quite a while though!

So if I buy a P71 Crown Vic with said 2V 4.6L V8 would it get to 1,000,000 miles?

Nope, more like the odometer cable and a drill.

So, the guy must have had quite a commute?

I imagine that GM may not use this as a selling point, given that the older models and newer models are in essence very different beasts.
