Can anybody explain what is the point of this game.I just seem
to drive around not knowing where to go as the map is well
unreadable. As for the street crime pull up to them shoot some warning shots and they always run away. And the car controls
well the less said the better.

:odd: Except in the case of a review or when someone is complaining.

How are people supposed to reply or respond when you give us little to go on.

Surely you must have more words than "you shoot and they run away".

Or are you just looking for people to come in and say "uh huh, yep."?

I'll probably give into curisosity and check it out if I see it at EB preowned. I won't buy it new since I don't want to waste money on a game that has many conflicting reviews (some people I know like it, lots of people hate it).

I liked TC when I rented it, but I can see how someone might not. One of th emajor appeals to me is that it's an accurate representation of the city I've lived in all my life. It's fun to be able to go places you have been IRL. And I know the city well. But it could be quite confusing for someone not used to LA and it's monstrous size. And I think it would lose a lot of its appeal, too.

it's crap compared to GTA 3 and Vice City. and i can only take so much of the main character's cheesy one liners :yuck:

The regular game mode isn't too bad. It's about 5/10.

When you play as Snoop, though, the fun factor increases 10x...

For a while. The novelty of it wears off after a few days. The game is definitely worth a 5 day rental, probably no more.

Does it have Santa Monica in the game? When I went to LA about 3 years ago, I stayed at a hotel there, and it would be fun to drive through the streets there (or to wreak havoc at the pedestrian mall :mischievous: )

Well if you try to comper any game to Vice city then you will always be dissapointed.I rented this game not to long after it came out and I must say I did enjoy it. The controls do take some getting use to, but just like any other new game all it takes is a little pratice to get it down. What I liked most about it was that there is more then one ending. I woulen,t pay full price for it but all in all I think it was worth buying.

It's a funny game, not too bad, but I like the massive city and the fact that crimes actually happen and you solve, and what you do affects your missions. Teh kung fu is the roxor though, especially starting a big street brawl and everyone's going for you. It's got a more realistic feel to it than Vice City.

I rented this and it sucks, i thought it might be somewhat decent but it just sucks. i hate it and no one should ever buy this game.

werd!! snoop is the best part of this game.. i love messing with the lowrider.. got it to flip over..

i beat it in like 3 days.it was an ok game(by ok i mean 5/10 at the most) but it really got stupid when they started incorporating all the magic and dragons into it.the controls were horrible and the driving sucked.the shooting was ok but it got repetitive after the first 10 minutes.i'm glad it wasnt my money used to buy it, it was my brothers.

I think its an okay game, not too grand but had great variety. It has some merits, learning new abilities (some) which are actually useful in the game was good. Got myself addicted to it when I rented it, navigating wasn't too hard, just very time consuming... Having a city too big is just as bad as too small.... fights were repetitive, and the game was way too short if you just went from mission to mission, ignoring most of the police calls... completed in 20 hours or so I think...

Definitly a rental though.
