Hi folks i love time trialing and gt5 but hate gt5s approach to it . Project gotham was novel they did a different trial each day with a random course and car and everyone used the same . And the tyres !!! are racing softs some sort of swear word . why not come up with some good track car combos to mimic say real life track records and have the track record as the gold medal ie nurby in the stock zonda r or laguna seca in the viper acr . For me at least i like to get the car round the track as fast as possible ie race softs the buzz is the speed .

100% agreed.... although I like what they have now, too. It would be a nice addition to have, say, a seasonal where you had to use a particular car (preferably LM or GroupC!), and all use the same tune (as per the licenses).

It's pretty much how an iPad game, RealRacing works, and it really focusses your mind on the racing.

also they need to only allow the engine % downgrade to 10% at most. this 50% engine downgrade is killing the current time trials

I personally like being told what car and what tune to use (like the expert seasonals). I feel like it is a better measure of driving ability compared to picking the "right" car and the "right" tune.

As a side...I really don't like the power limiter feature in general. Just don't feel it is all that realistic. I know you can detune an engine, but it typically won't do to the power curve what the games limiter tends to do.
