i think i found something here.

it all happened about a week ago. i decided to soup up my trueno for some nice drifting. i got all my stuff, put my settings, and commenced drifting.

i noticed something weird though....this car was by far the most incredible car i had ever drifted in....and i wondered why too. because, in the past i've never had this kind of sucess with this car. it was like perfect. drifted better than a 4wd can go sideways.

so i go to free run, because i wanted to race at midfeild 2, which isnt on the settings tracks and all that in sim mode. i look at my trueno, and it had a whole circle of the speed meter. similar to how a hybrid would be. though, the car only had 269 hp. it was really weird...i cant explain it.

so, i guess this could be considered a glitch. if not in gameplay at least on the menus. lol. :cool:

Odd. Can you capture that on video, I'm curious as to how the bars jump up.
 
you mean the footage of drifting?

i can capture that...

but the glitch is gone now. i had to go to bed and i didnt want to save because i sold off an F1 to have money for the parts. :-/

but there wouldnt be a way to tell what the hell made it do that.
video or no video. the pic is proof enough though that the menu spazzed out.

i dunno. like i said, its weird.
 
Why would you sell the F1 for money?!

Didn't you get like $300,000 when you won it?:confused:
 
because i am broke. and i dont wanna waste time. so i sell one of my f1's and make mucho bucks, and then i set up my drifter, save the drift settings, save replays, and thats it.

why bother when replaysand tunes are the only things that matter.
 
I've got mine almost up to all 9's without cheats o_0 I race too much ^-^ lol.
 
i had that much.....then i went shopping...a lot.
 
Pssh... gameshark > *

I had 2 mil before my memory card got whiped, I didnt feel like racing again so i borrowed a friends gs and now i have like 10 trillion.

Im a cheat :-/
 
I dont think the glitch has to do with the game... Have you ever used a gameshark or any cheat for the car in the past. That might be the problem.
 
This is actually a glitch in the game. it appears sometimes on completely random cars.

it's nothing special and does not affect the performance of the car.

if you want assurance of what i say, talk to someone higher up in the ranking (ie: a mod)

it happens to the gtr and the fd when u leave it on stock on go to freeplay
 
I won an Evo VII GSR. After I souped it up a bit, it did the exact same thing.
 
yeah it did that on my Rx-7 Fd once i thought it was really like that until i tried it...
