Trueno vs. Trueno Shigeno in arcade...

So - Somewhat still trying to muscle my way to a 100% (eventually) I'm trying to get rid of the arcade races. And I'm doing this mostly the Altezza and the Trueno. So I decided to try the Trueno Shigeno from my garage and boy do I find that challenging. Instead of cars from the bottom group, you're suddenly fighting Skylines and Camaros and who knows what left and right.

So - Answer me this, do I really suck that bad, or will the arcade races (hard) be just extremely difficult or impossible to beat in the Shigeno version ? (Skylines and all)

I think the Trueno Shigeno is classified as an A class car because of its modifications. So yeah, you're gonna have a rough time with that car. The competiton's a lot newer and has way more horsepower.
 
Best car for the road races, if you want to use only arcade mode cars is the Opel Speedster (Vauxhaul VX220). Yes it only has 138 rate HP. But it is faster than all the rest of the "
"B" Class cars.
 
heh...i used the speedster for the first area, then i realised i could use my F094/S from my home garage to get through the races a WHOLE LOT faster....it puts you up againts th R390 LM and the GT1....and by the first lap they're a good 10 seconds down! :D
 
wassup peeps dang thought u peeps should know i have no problem smoking car from 650hp and sown and for those S classes they noting if there no strait-straits as in test course and that other round course....

oh the car is trueno SS

heres a time for u to beat on trial mountain

no rails and no cutting through grass......

no modified cars either cause that would be cheatting

yup, beating those cars with the shigeno will give you a hard time but there'll be some WAY fun races... try.
 
yea cano....im taking sim mode very seriously...but arcade mode is a useless 5 laps around each track once, and then doing it backwards.....no reward....nothing....arcade mode just needs to be over and done with, then i can concentrate on fields that are more competative like the TVR challenge and elise challenge...ones where it can get really close

Try them with a comparable car in PRO mode.
Hold the L1 and R1 buttons down while picking your race and you will have 10 laps with tire wear on. :D
