I have never in my life played a game that I to stop playing after only 40 seconds......... ....I was laughing so hard I could not play anymore as the the game requires accurate button presses and it was impossible laughing so hard.

"Try not to fart" is an Indie game on Xbox Live. Its 80 points and worth it. Even if it gets stale after a few minutes. In fact the demo is all you need to play. The game basically has you press and hold a button. This represents holding a fart in. Make a mistake and they can start ripping out one after another. You are on a date and you are trying to get with a girl you met. Every level is a level of the relation ship, and each one has you trying to hold in your gas. I first thought it was stupid. But for some reason I just had to try it. 40 second in i was falling out of my chair laughing. Even my girl watching me play was laughing. I do have a weakness to potty humor so it may not be as funny to others..

At least try to demo.

Hmmm. Yes I can see now how Xbox gamers are easily pleased. What a load of toss. But don't get me wrong - I love Southpark and the animation and style of humour is similar, but as something to play on a games console it's still crap.

I'm not pleased. The fart sounds are not realistic enough. They should have recorded multiple versions of real farts.

Heh heh. This thread is starting to go like the humour on which it is based. Imagine having the job of actually recording different farts. Of course, they all sound different depending on what you eat. For a good recording session i recommend the following: Lentil/Potato soup for a starter, followed by either a decent curry or beans on toast, and fruit salad as a dessert. Washing it all down by copious amounts of Guinness. Howzat for an anal explosion of assgass!

Haha......

LOL...Sounds like you're quite the Methane Monster

So no one has played it, just judged it by the clip? I was turned off by it but i tired it to see why IGN choose it as one their indie picks.... Its the reaction to the button presses that made it entertaining.

Played the demo. I thought it was pretty funny.

Just speaking from past experience. Used to go out every Thursday night after work. There's a chain of pubs in this country called Wetherspoons and they do special curry deals on that night, and I used to be a Guinness drinker. Believe me when I say that the following morning was not fun.

What kind of game is "Try not to fart", sounds like a kid made the game.

Its a button match game. you have to hold a button until it tells you to let go. but it can be ANY combination of buttons at any time. Its very creative even if the humor dies in minutes. its still funny.

Its like Simon but you hold the buttons rather than match them.

yes, you start letting them rip when you let it go too soon or miss it, for every mistake you let out rapid fire farts. The first time it happened I fell out of my chair laughing... its comments from the game characters that also make it funny.

Oh well, in this day and age of Modern Warfare, GT5, Resident Evil etc. it's nice to see that simple games can still entertain people with simple m.......ok I won't go there for fear of those stuck-up moderators coming down on me again.

its $1.00, and you get about 4-5 minutes of humor, then its over basically. Have seen you or played any of Xboxlive's indie games?

Would you stop whining about the Mods, they closed your threads because we already had threads for the games you asked questions about, we don't need multiple as it creates confusion and usually overlaps information. Use the search function and get over yourself.

I don't think I'd go as far as to pay any money for this if I had access to it, but whatever floats your boat I guess. I mean c'mon, I can get my own fart humour for free .

Oh dear, want me to pick up the dummy you spat out?
