Sounds like fun :) Cool idea btw 👍 I'll definitely be interested in competing when my wheels shows up in 1-2 weeks HOPEFULLY  I'm sure this will be a huge challenge but definitely rewarding and a good way to improve your skills by driving at the limit of the N tires minimal adhesion...

Running on N1 tires in these cars may or may not improve our driving. If it does that’s great but here’s a thought. Say we get faster so faster that we’re bagging out 2:05:xxx to 2:03:xxx. What’s to say we’ll be that fast when the final version of GT5 comes out. Remember now GT5 Prolog is still in Beta format. The tire and car behavior may change a little or a lot in the final version keep that in mind. Just because we’re fast now in GT5P doesn’t mean we’ll be that fast in GT5. I’m game though I want to dump another 2sec off my times at Suzuka.

Time Attack 07gt I'm right on your butt Bubba in time. I should be there soon.

Now this sounds like a cool idea!
I"ll def. be in 👍
Seeya on Monday!

When I saw the Tuned Viper as the first car choice, I figured out very quickly that zujo is a sadist. :sly:

I've always steered clear of Tuned Viper especially in stock form because of the seemingly random wheel-spin: you know it's coming, you know it's going to kill you coming out of a corner, you just don't know exactly when the rears are going to break under power.

I was prepared for this combo to destroy my mind and kill my thumbs, and in the beginning, it just didn't seem as if I'd beat my stock Integra on S2s but after two days at it, I've found this to be really wonderful, really challenging, and really involving.

I've had to give 100% concentration to every part of the track and really make an effort to understand when and where I can pile on the throttle. Later on, I could actually feel exactly where the right spot was for me to just floor it. Brilliant!

Chucking this guy through the esses was both understeery, leery, wild, and a total pleasure. Taking on the high-speed sweepers was a lesson in stupidity and blind hope... and more throttle control.

Thanks to this, S2s and throttle control make a whole lot more sense to me and my Sixaxis. This reminded me of why I liked GT Legends so much. I'm actually anxious to see how the Ford GT Spec II handles (honestly and morbidly curious :) )

My Internet connection and computer are terrible on a good day, so I'll only be able to participate from the sidelines.

2:26:404 in the Viper for now.

I know if I work at it, there's somewhere between 4 tenths to a second to work off. In the land of the aliens and wheel drivers, somebody running a 2:16:xxx wouldn't surprise me. Not surprising, but still depressing. :indiff:

Thanks for showing me a new way to play GT5:P. Keep it up 👍
