Trying to locate an NTSC J game save

Having recently obtained a Japanese copy of GT1, I'd love to have a complete game save, so I can get stuck into playing with it, so does anyone here have access to a suitable save or know the whereabouts of one?

I'm a busy 32 year old father who doesn't have the time to finish it again but I'm itching to get the feeling of when I first played it at 22

Gamefaqs would be a good place to start. But unless you have a dexdrive or epsxe then it's not much use because you can't get the save from the computer to your memory card.

I suggest you just finish it again. After all it's only GT1. There's not much races you have to do compared with later games.
 
I had been hoping to get a save to the memory card using the 'Memory Manager' function of my PS2 ARMAX

Perhaps starting over will be the easiest solution
Besides my GT playing skills are vastly better than when I first played it so, it may be less stressful this time around (I hope)

Hey, that would be so weird to start all over again...right back to the spot races in my trusty Nissan Silvia Q's :P yee-haw!

Someday, I'll do it, too! Hell, I may as well go all the way back to where I REALLY started: Ford Racing! :embarrassed:

I once completed [size=+1]GT1[/size] in twenty-four hours of playing time. I.e. won everything but gold licenses. But I don't think I could do that right now, since it took me 1.5 hours the other night to just bronze IA7 (Griffith@SSR11).

Hey there's a couple newbs here, check out Sportwagon's website new guys, it's got the best online journal for GT1 I've ever seen 👍

Awww, I hate being a noob...well I maybe a GTPlanet noob but I'm definitely not a Gran Turismo noob, in fact I think I've even got my original MotoToon GP 2 somewhere :D
I even won a national GT competition run by Sony in '02, there hasn't been another since so I guess I'm the reigning champ ;) (for New Zealand that is)

Ah, so you're not a GT newb..you're just new here. Well that'll go away if you stick around and keep chatting with us. You wont be a new member anymoer, you'll be "active". :)
 
Yeah the user title can be misleading sometimes. You're a pro in the game but your title says junior member. Then there's also members with senior member status but they act like a noob all the time. I personally don't care, it's how you post that counts.

Hey if you're a reigning champ, come and join us over at the Weekly Challenge thread, I wanna see how my driving stacks up against some of the world's best GT players :D.

Haha but, in no way would I ever consider myself one of the best
Even though I did win the comp, it was only here in tiny little New Zealand (4 million people in the whole country)

I'll take a look though for sure, let me try to get back some skill by spending some more time with GT5 Prologue and GT1
