I have had my Gt-One race car for ages now, and I just haven't used it. From the past experiences with GT i know the GT-One is up at the top. Yesterday I had a go at the Pro ALl Stars Race, and decided to give the Gt-One a run, and I just wasted all the other competition. Main Rival was of course the 787b, cuz there werent an R390 on the track.

After completing it, I was awarrded the R390 , which I had been wanting to get for a long time, as I know its rite beside the Gt-One at the top of the table. I'm happyt to say that the GT-One and the R390 are so evenly matched.

I was wondering WHO prefers WHICH of the 2, cars, and Why. Also feel free in inculde the the 787B in your points.

:D

Well, first off I'd suggest running a search for topics of this subject, Supra4eva.

Second I must say that I prefer the GT-One.

I prefer the Nissan - to me it's a lot easier to drive smoothly than the Toyota, and for me, easier to extract consistently fast lap times from it - it doesn't suffer the lag of the Toyota - and the Nissan is still quite civil to drive when fully tuned.

That said, it is possible to drive a GT-One smoothly at full tuning, it just takes a heck of a lot.

But it's worth it in the long run. ;)

I like all three cars personally, but if I have to choose it's the Nissan. That car rocks!!

ps its not the Tom's Castrol, but oh well...

I like the Nissan R390 better than the GT1...but the road cars are the opposite story.

The 787b would be better if it had a nice little sixth gear...:grumpy:

Nah, it still has 5 gears for me...Which is a shame...

for a car having 5th gear going 250mph + is fast enough..if u don't use hybirds and i don't like people spoiling fun and scrweing up cars HYBIRDS= faggots who ever uses it i that.

Well i think the 787b just lacks that oomph you're expecting when you're on manual...I keep looking for that next gear but it's not there...;)

Shame about the 787B not having a Sixth gear, Really it's the only let down witht he car. I can't find any rims I like to match it tho, lol, sso i've kept the standard ones. ;)

Has anyone looked at gears on the 787B. I have because I wanted more acceleration at Seattle.

It has 5 gears. You can not give it 6. Before anyone says otherwise I suggest you go and look.

As far as I know every other car can have 6 gears but the 787B can not.

i wonder why it was so competative in real life if it only had 5 gears...surely it was up againts a whole feild of 6 speeds.....it must have something under the hood, or in the fuel  to make it compete!

it has 5 gears, it is from the early 90's, mazda didnt have a strong enough 6 speed to mate with the 920 hp engine, which is what it actually made in real life and raced with.

Yeah, Gears ain't everything. I will check up what the competitors had back then. Remember it was a while ago. And it was / is an awesome engine. Well its like 2 awesome engines isn't it. Quad rotors.

great info!! i still don't have the 787B in my game yet....I guess i'll win it this weekend and see what all the fuss is about :)

Second placed car had 5 gears as well (it actually came 2nd, 3rd and 4th). This is in French but I assume the 5 next to transmission means the number of gears.

Here

EDIT: If you want it in English then go here and paste the web page address in the translate a webpage box and choose French to English.

Can't find info on the Sauber C11 that was driven into 5th place by none other than Michael Schumacher.
