INSTRUCTIONS

~The lap must be run in Arcade Mode > Single Race> World Circuit > Tsukuba
~The tires must be set to Sports Mediums (SM)
~Driving aids allowed.(TCS only)
~No changing power settings.
~No changing weight settings.
~No changing top speed settings.
~Tire wear set on mild /strong
~Transmission AT/MT is yours to choose.
~No contact with walls or objects, visible or invisible
Stay on the pavement at ALL times.
No shortcuts allowed (eg: Trail mountain thru the dirt right before the finish line)
~Use the cars underneath only.
~ Post your time and car you drove with.

Before I begin, GT5 will hit the stores, I believe somewhere in summer of 2010(crossing-fingers). I recently started playing GT4 again (it’s been a while) and randomly decided to see if anybody could beat these lap times or just add your own. I want to see if there is anybody as good like me or better.:cheers:

Everything is stock and I didn't mess with any settings. Just followed the instructions I provided, so it's fair without car tuning anything.

Then POST YOUR TIMES. Let's do this!!!!:cheers:

The reason I selected these car,because when I saw "Tsukuba battles" ft Keiichi Tsuchiya[the drift king] on youtube racing with these cars on this course against other people. That is why I love the course.

All stock with the their skills with no drifting. All grip. Good racing lines. How cool is that!

I'm trying to simulate on what I watched on youtube.

I was surprised to find that here, the NSX, Supra, M3, and Skyline were all essentially equally fast (to the tenth of a second!). Not wanting to make the obvious choice, I instead selected the Supra, which I find much more enjoyable to drive here. With it, I set a lap time of 1'01.618, without touching grass.

These results were written approximately 6-8 months on my index cards at my prime.

Yeah. I agree.

The cars you mention are probably my top 5 on this race course. When I had lan party one time, we did 14 laps, I drove (r34) against for my best friend's (FD) and a couple of my friends( no match). Due to the R34 tires,my tires were on a giving out,particularly on the turn before the finish line, it gave me a little under-steer on the corner, and the FD took the advantage and won by tenth of a second.

Overall, the r34 has a lot of success in the beginning of the course and also on straightway , however, as the course went on, the FD had the advantage on the turns and tire wear.

So, my next project or should I say, when my friend and I play each other again (don't know when), I would like to know if we drove the same car--will the tire give out the same time or is it the style of how we race determine the outcome of tires in the race?

Have any idea?

That is something I would like to know,because when I race my friend or friends, I like to use a different cars than what they got.

My times using a DFGT wheel just then, time trialing

Honda NSX type R Concept `01 - 1'02.447
I went straight for the NSX, as it handles really well in GT4!

BMW M3 `04 - 1'02.994
The NSX just seems to pull out turns better, when I run it's ghost with the M3. Especially that long straight before the final turn

I managed to get a minute flat in the same car around the same track. Followed the guidlines in the race rules as well.

It's been a while since Ive been on GTplanet.

It's all good...but you forgot to follow the rules. I wanted you to feel the tire wear effect when you race on the track. :) Try again.
