I unlocked the Tsukuba 9-Hour endurance race in B-Spec, so I entered my 350Z Superleggera.

I watched as my Bob overtook several other drivers, until it was time to refuel. When Bob entered the pit lane, there weren't any pit crews...so, the car turned into its spot and just sat there for 25 seconds, not moving an inch. After that, it magically changed tires and refueled. Other drivers and their cars did the same.

Is it just me or does the track actually not show any pit crews doing any work?

I noticed that in driving the Roadster 4 hours in A-spec, I don't think there are actually pit crews in Tsukuba....the track also doesn't have weather or time-of-day changes.....kinda sucks since the actual Roadster Endurance race runs into the night....

There is an actual one? Also how I would love to drive Tsukuba in the night and rain, midnight drift!!! :sly:

Although interestingly there are pit crews when you race online at tsukuba when it feels like giving them to you :P

If I remember it correctly, I didn't notice any of the AI pitting during the A-spec 4hr-endurance. They changed tires and refueled miraculously while racing. Sebastian Vettel would be very pleased to learn that trick :D

Further proof that GT5 is an unfinished product. 7 locations for 24 hr Endurance races and yet 1 track/2 races have no pit crew. Amateurish stuff.

Noticed it, too. I tend to think that the pitlane is too narrow for the pitcrew-animations in Tsukuba. Other cars could not pass them anymore, so they just left them out instead of wasting time on a revised animation. Seriously, that's not a problem though.

It wouldn't be too hard to widen the pit lane a bit though for those animations

However ...

They do manage in real life in the same pit lane (If in fact Tsukuba is as accurate as PD likes to claim) so there shouldn't be a problem.

It's called, working with a limited hardware. There's not enough memory for alot of stuff.

Actually it was pitting that allowed him to win F1 title, otherwise Webber or Alonso would have taken it.

I've done that 9 hour endurance race in B-spec about 4 times now. Never a pit crew. Noticed the same thing on the Nurburgring Nordschleife - my car just pulled into the middle of a concrete area, sat there for a while, then drove off with new tires and full of gas. Some of the Nurburgring versions have pit crews - like the 24 hour circuit, but the basic 'Ring doesn't.

That is just boll***s.

Why do you think the Playstation Eye only works if you turn fuel depletion off? Cause it frees up memory. Theres alot of stuff that didn't make it into the game cause of memory issues.

I do not agree on this and I doubt many others do. Also read the previous post..the inconsistancy.. it shows poor delivery not memory. Memory issues would effect all tracks not just one.

I am currently running Roadster Endurance now. When I pitted and no crew showed up... I was scared. What if this is some sort of bug and my car will stay there all the time that's left?
Phew. It refueled, changed it's tyres by itself and now I'm on the track again :D

Its proof that its time for you to resell the Amateurish game.

It's a ghost pit crew, it does not stop me from enjoying the game.

I don't see how fuel depletion would cost any significant amount of memory usage. It's one value that slowly decreases.

This video show the pit lane much larger in real than in GT5 👍

I referred to the pit crew not the game, assuming you understand english. If you enjoy the ghost pit crew then fine, I just expect something a bit better from a product with GT name attached it.

And the memory limits effect only Tsukuba, one of the shortest tracks? Seems like they just didn't play-test the game enough.

I'm going to agree with this guy.
I still enjoy the game but seeing the pit crew in action is pretty cool and when it's missing in Tsukuba, one of my favorite tracks in the game, it kind of sucks(not the game, the fact that there isn't a pit crew on that track).

No, because more tracks are more detailed/optimized/wtv and therefore require more memory then others.

Ok, so Tsukuba; small track, daytime only, uses more memory than a pitstop after dark and in the rain at Le Mans, with an active fairground and fireworks in the background ? Further, who cannot accept that the night-time detail at Le Mans is absolutely stunning ?

It'd be nice to see the drivers change, too. But :) I'd rather more attention be placed elsewhere.

iam in lap 79, with horrible tyres and i tried 2 times to go in pit stop but my car passed and nothing happened can you help me?

You need to go into the pits slowly if your going fast cos it only let's you stop if you aren't going too fast

I think tsukuba is used mainly for time attack, drift and short races that doesnt requires pitting. And to pit they have to drive into the garage.
Talking bout real life btw

the pit crews protest when you do an endurance race so the driver does all the pitwork themself. it's common knowledge.
