Just curious to see what you guys can do with this car, and if my time is any good at all. Picked up the focus while talking to a friend that happened to own one, and ended up hotlapping Tsukuba for a while :P

My best was 1'10.860. All assists off, completely stock.

I assume that "totally stock" means Sports Medium tires, right? In that case, I ran some laps and got a 1'08.651, from which I might be able to take off a quarter second at most. I use a DS2 (analog sticks) and manual transmission and didn't do anything to the car other than turn off those horrible aids.

Yeah sports mediums. This has really been helping me feel out my DFGT, I'll have to work on my time a little more. I think I could shave some time under the tire and at the last hairpin.

I'll get back to you guys tonight... I think I have recorded a 1'07 in the Focus...

I wonder are we meant to run stocky stock. Aka no oil change ect or is this supposed to be ran in arcade mode?

I ran 1'09.938 in GT mode (no oil change and no TCS/ASM)

:(

Got home and checked my recorded Tsukuba fastest lap database and I could SWEAR to god I had done a 1'07 around Tsukuba with this car!

Evidently not though....

My fastest lap in the ST170 was..... (wait for it...)

1'09.662

Hmmmmm..... Austin you're a killer!

Ah, no oil change. I always forget that oil changes affect new cars as well.

Oh My God I drove the wrong track! I did Mid fieldraceway:ouch::ouch::ouch:

1'09.581 after 30 laps... Very probably, the best I can get. Don't like this car too much: in some of the corners it's even difficult to brake without completely lose the line. When you brake, it rolls too much, resulting in a big understeer entering the corner.

You're supposed to finish braking before you even enter the turn. I don't, but it's the 'right' way to race a track.
