TT expiration

So could any of you TT fans confirm that when the expiration time occurs, its not like GP qualifying where you can complete any lap started before the session end time and it counts, the TT just ends period, lap or not?

As luck would have it I was of course on that dream lap at the FGT TT , just entered the final straight for the finish when the screen goes blank and it announces the TT is over. Having my ghost lap at 1:13 and being up 3.2 at the last checkpoint, I would have banked a 1:10 which for me is pretty huge.

Yeah the first time I had a shot at finishing top ten I started a lap with about a minute and a half left not enough time to do a complete lap but I thought I could finish it and yeah of course I was doing better than I ever had when time ran out.

You cant finish a lap, when the times up, its all over and done.

I missed top ten by 1 tenth...still a great TT and a great way to finish. I didnt fail and blow the last corner bigtime or something. hahahaha
