Hi guys,

Long time no, erm, post. Anyway, I thought some of you might be interested in a new addition to TTBikeSim. Basically it's a mini-site which lets you upload and share your TT replays which can be browsed by bike, track, and quite a few other things. It's possible to 'tag' replays which then results in all replays with the same tag being shown on the same page. The idea behind that is that if you have a particular challenge at track X on bike Y then you can view a list of all the 'entrants' as it were.

Once you've registered you get access to upload replays as well as a profile page which lists everything you've uploaded.

In the future I plan to add a complete lap times database, which will similarly be searchable by bike, track etc and make it possible to see who's quickest in specific challenges as well as who has put in the quickest ever lap of the Nurburgring, for instance. This is probably at least a few weeks away, but it is in the works. Anyone will be able to submit lap times but they will only be eligible for the various 'top 10' type pages if they are linked to a replay. The idea behind that being that it'll make for a realistic set of results and people will get to download replays of just how things should be done. ;)

I don't think I'm missing anything, but if anyone's got any questions or spots anything that's not working then I'll get to get it fixed ASAP.

Hope everyone finds it useful. :)

Cheers,
Dom

Sorry guys, I should've explained better. If you have a USB memory stick you can plug it into your PS2 and then upload and download your in-game replays via the 'replay theater' area. Just go into that area, select a replay and you will see a 'read replay data from memory card onto USB stick' option (or something to that effect), which then saves a REPLAY.DAT onto the USB stick. You can then upload that to the site where others can download it onto their USB stick and use the 'read replay data from memory stick' option to watch the replay in full.

It's an ace little feature which should bring things that little bit closer to multiplayer, as it is even possible to load the 'best lap replays' as ghosts to race against.

Hopefully that clears things up a bit, but if not, I'll do my best to make more sense. ;)

(You don't need any 3rd party software or hardware to view TT replays other than a USB stick and a copy of the game.)
