Really incredible stuff, isn't it? I'm surprised the boat was still in one piece, and the bridge didn't fall into the river.

Oh, man, I can't beleive the current actually pulled a big, heavy boat like that under! How on earth did you find that page, LoudMusic?

A friend of mine sent it to me. Pretty crazy stuff. I've seen big currents make a mess out of boats before, but this is pretty incredible.

Thats pretty amazing...
Can you imagine the state of mind of the person piloting that boat as he is traveling under the bridge?

Yes, and Yes:D

When I lived there, right after i got there, Hurricane Fran hit(back in 96. Witn prolly about 5-6 hours, the river had risen 10 feet, flooded part of the road(actually i big part, maybe a mile to mile and half long), and covered all the low water bridges. If you where on the other side of the bridges, tough luck. We were out of school for almost a week.

That storm moved boulders the size of semi trucks, no problem

Stuff like that is amazing.

AS for the coal barges, i think they took them up and down the Patomic(sp) and the Allegeny(sp, again:)). That particular area, kinda looks like its up by Harper's Ferry.

Hey Loudmusic: are you or you friend a farker perchance? That link showed up in the morning today, so I'm guessing that's where one of you found it.
