Making this thread to check for interest levels for this type of event...

We all know tuning has been a big part of GT throughout the different iterations of the game. I would like to organize track days or races with fully tuned cars (No race mod cars) running Sports Soft tires. We can make different HP brackets to make it a bit fair so you dont end up against a 900+ HP monster in your 600 HP Skyline R32 or something like that... I was thinking to let it be known at each race what the HP cap will be... You can be under it, but not over :) Still brainstorming different setups though...

So just to check interest levels for this event please reply in this thread or if you have any ideas for improvement please feel free to share them as well.

I'm not afraid of tuned cars in general but I am afraid of your tuned cars ;)

I'll be up for it if I'm free when it's on and have tuned the nuts off something other than a '97 Civic Type R :dopey:
 
^^^ LoL! They're not THAT great :rolleyes: There's plenty of people roaming these forums who can tune really well... 👍 Anyway.... I'll see you Friday for sure... Sometime in the near future I'll present an event, hopefully the interest picks up as time passes
 
I'd like to join. I'm assuming the car doesn't need to have every tuning part bought right?

You can perhaps have different categories on different days. Like Classic Muscle Cars, Japanese Super Cars, European Classics/Hot Hatches etc. like the A-Spec events. It'll help cut down on seeing the same cars everytime.

Yeah and I want to show off my Z28 '69!
 
^^ Nice! When I do make an event I will probably set it up like youve suggested so we dont get to many mismatches... It will range from proper race days to just casual trackdays so you can show off your tuned rides and mess around a little 👍

And I also have a nice '69 Z28 sitting in the garage just itching to gargle some nails and whip around the tracks...

You mean the one by Interludes? I read it as well, but this thread is mainly to check for interest... Got a coupel of you interested... If the interest is high enough I will come back and make a nice event thread with the rules and such! 👍
 
Hi Blitz, I am definitely interested, also got a mildly tuned '69 Camaro, not that quick but a great laugh!
 
Ok guys. I'm going to brainstorm an event setup this week and post something up when I'm ready... keep an eye out! :)
