Welcome to the Tuned-Production Car Championship

This Championship will consist of 10 rounds all of which will be raced
by a single car that you will buy and tune to be verstille.
This will not only test your ability to drive but to manage the money
alotted.


This Championship will be run offline.
The races will be held in GT4 Simulation Mode (GT Mode).
Before each round you will be given a number of rounds to run.
Besides this its standard online racing rules,
no wall riding, no cutting, no cheating etc.
Your race results must be posted in the pm it to me and the only discussion allowed is about T- times, so please do not discuss which car you using and the mods made to it for it defeats the whole purpose of the competition.
Pictures or Replays (using any transfer device) of race results is highly recomended! If verification is not given when requested you will
automatically be dropped to last place, in that round.
Points system: 10-8-6-5-4-3-2-1 for the positions from first to eighth.

Cars allowed:
Any Car that can be bought from any dealer or used car lot under Cr.100,000.

Money allowed:
An amount of Cr.100,000 can be spent on the car and tuning parts combined.

Please include a list of money spent (see attachment)
*Note* The Car you chose must be equipped with Racing Tires: Hard (R2).
Any other purchase of parts is up to you.

Aids: on or off (driver choice)

Any single driver (privateer) or team can enter this championship.
A team can have a maximum of 2 cars.
No qualifying is required to enter this championship.
Just follow the simple rules and everyone will be happy.

Its one nice idea, im thinking in join it seriously, but im analizing coz im already @ 3 champs!! LOL :)
 
that's okay it is not like the races are going to be eighty laps long...:LOL:

I would prefer a list of real world tracks and only one type of tires that are predetermined by you...
 
I tried to give some variety to the list so that there could be a true contest of players skillz and not just what they have practiced and perfected. Hmmm.... I think maybe I should put a restriction on what type of tires are used. Okay u can only buy any two sets of tires.
 
I suppose I could give this a try, I could use a bit more details though.
 
You can use any car you can buy from the used car lots or New car lots. The price of the car is included in your total amount of money allowed. To verify that u have not gone over the Cr.100,000 a list of parts and there prices is requested (u can use the excel example in attachment.) The Races will be run in Simulation Mode using both the family cup option and various races.

You said you can use ANY buyable car,but it's a production car race,clarify please..

Also,will the races be done in GT Mode or Arcade?And are Aids allowed?

You must clarify these things before you blurt out some big race..


But other than that,im highly interested.I might use my Spec-C Subaru for this,im not sure...

You can only get production cars less for less than 100,000 dollars in the list I provided in shows that I bought the car and then added upgrades to it until it reached right below the 100,000 dollar limit so I figured I had that covered.

Read the first post it has almost everything u need to get started. I going to add in the part about the aids and I've already stated that it is going to be in simulation (GT mode)

But does the Racing tyres count toward the 100K?

And Nitrous is allowed?!

In my opinion we shouldn't allow it, but it's your thing....
 
i think this is a good series idea, i will see if i can arrange this around the WTCC im already running, i think nitrous should be allowed, with enough laps, it wont matter THAT much anyway. i think this tests your creativity, and really challenges you as a tuner. a few things though, does the car need to be new? are oil changes free? and i think tires should be included in the budget, because how much money you spend on grip is directly proportionate to how much money you have left to spend on go fast goodies. also i believe that you can buy the HPA R32 for less than 100K and that is a tuner car, so is this car excluded, along with any other full models from any tuner shop that you may be able to purchase for under 100k?

So all we have to do is race on the circuits with the car modded to a limit of 100,000 credits including prize of car, and send each best lap time of each track to you?

If u can find the orginal price of the car but u just had it sitting in your garage for a few months than u can use it. You can use this to find out the price of the car you have.

Oil Changes are free since that each car does not benifit enough to make a huge gap.

Tires are included in budget.

I would not consider HPA R32 as a production car so no u can't use tuners

I will allow nitrous since it to can be a valuable part of tuning even if it is to the smallest degree.

Are posting our best lap times? From X number of laps on the track? Or are we doing family cup and posting our best lap from that? Or our total lap? Or both?

And DO TYRES COUNT TOWARD THE 100K?!
 
Yes tires do count toward the 100K and we are posting total times

Are you still accepting entery i think i want to join sounds fun . $100,00 for a car and parts all together thats good engough money $100,000. Can we even buy a tunded car already thats tuned like the VW Golf R32 HPP. that cost $31,000 and upgrade it can we use that kind car?
