Ok there are at least four tuners in GT3 Spoon, Mines, Nismo and Mugen so how about a race series featuring these ready modded cars. One race for each type of car or tuner. I would like to run the cars out of the box but I know my spoon civics had an engine balance and my Nismo R32 s-tune had all the unreversable mods done. Tracks sugestions please Tokyo R246 has got to feature......where else would you go to thrash some powerful Japanese motors :D as has SSR11

Points system scoring system 10, 6,4,3,2,1

what do you think??

Race 1
Car: Spoon Civic
Track SSR 5

Race 2
Car: Spoon S2000
Track: Tokyo R246

Race 3
Car: Mines Evo
Track: SSR5 II WET

Race 4
Car: Nismo R32 GTR S-tune
Track: Tokyo R246 II

Race 5
Car: Mines R34 GTR
Track: SSR11

There are still the Nismo R34 GTR R-tune and the Mugen S2000 to be added if required.

Race type would be a hot lap giving a street racing feel thats why I have suggest the above circuits. May be a 400m time trial could be run throughout the season..........

Could Someone remind me where each car can be won from...cheers

It sounds good. Maybe the other SS tracks aswell, maybe a wet one might be interesting aswell. Would they all be running in the same class or what? Because i know some are alot better than others?

a race for each car not head to head can't really race a spoon civic against the mines skyline  SSR5 wet would be good :D

this is sort of a work in process any ideas would be welcome :D

Yeah, i wouldnt mind racing somthing like this. :)

1st post has been edited to include my ideas about possible races ;)

Just remembered the TOMs chaser........what other tuners have I missed ?

Hmm, this does sound kinda interesting. I'll have to keep my eyes on this thread :)

so three plus myself so far............just a couple more required please :D

Famine thanks for the list :D

Anyone tell me where the toms chaser can be aquired :)

Did a bit of testing in spoon civic....suits R246 down to the ground :D

I forgot the Nismo R34 R-tune as well... :D The Ru's are considered tuner cars by the game (Super Speedway enduro is tuner car heaven), and it seems to think the Motorsport Elise is as well - which is sort of not true.

Tom's Chaser X540 - Amateur Altezza Race (1 of 4).

Cheers amine have to get that motor to try it out :D

May well run this series now and see if anyone gets picked up along the way :D

I'll post here when the first race is to be and take it from there..first time i will have hosted a series so tips would be good
:D

Circuit: Tokyo R246

The Car: Spoon Sports Civic Type R

Modifications allowed: Engine Balancing only

This car is the nuts :D revs to 17000rpm and produces max power of 227bhp at a heady 9600rpm. Only problem with this car is power understeer ;) so good throttle control out of tight corners is a must ;)

PM me your lap times in this format

Lap Time
S1
S2

Closing date for this round 29/06/03

have fun people :D

I will start a new thread for round two in the short series forum

Can we use whatever tires we want? or is JUST the engine balancing allowed? And also are we allowed to discuss our split times in this thread?

As it comes out of the box that means normal tyres only the only modification that can be bought is engine balancing (as this is non-reversable and many people will have done it during the game). The car comes with a few mods already carried out including sports exhaust and semi-racing suspension. :D

Disscus what you want in this thread...I've run this course and car on sims and managed low 2:02 laps ;)
