9ff is going to build its own Porsche-based supercar! Although the car will be based on the previous-generation 911, the components of the car will be made by themselves. The 9F-GT1 will have a tubular spaceframe and a mid-mounted 900bhp 4-litre flat-six. The car will be spending lots of time in a wind tunnel.

Jan Fatthauer, the founder of 9ff, says that the car will "move the company to a new level", both in public perception and performance. Knowing that a 840bhp conversion on a 911 GT2 has recently eclipsed the McLaren F1's 240mph top speed, this new car will be quite a beast.

WOW that car is beautiful
- think it would look better without the huge wing - but the lip under the wing is stunning
- although the wing will be there for downforce reasons
 
Its the car Porsche should have made instead of the Carrera GT.

Aren't RUF doing something very similar?
 
Can anyone shop it to see what it would look like without the wing. I think it would be a great look for a porche!

Looks better with the wing IMO because it looks to be based on the GT1.

It looks wikid but...it doesn't seem to have rear-view mirrors - is that because it's a concept?

haha.. and they should include the 1999 Mercedes CLR.. and have an air time comp in GT5... :lol:
 
Wow.
So 9ff is basically just mixing a 911 Turbo and GT1 together....

Looks nice, but I can't say its the most imaginative design.
 
The 9ff has no mirrors?! They probably removed them for higher speeds.
 
In my opinion, it looks out of date already due to the use of 996 headlamps.

Duh! It also doesn't have a driver so it loses some weight.
