What are the optimal tunings for the Audi 1.8 TT.  It just  seems slow and I've juiced it to 300 some horses.  Do I need the fully adjustable differential and what are the settings, How about suspension and Tranny, I've got the six speed racing transmission and the two plate clutch.  I've done second stage lightening.  Is third stage worth it.

Hook me up.

I did 3rd stage, but it's still slow as hell. When I race other STOCK Audi's I get passed like I'm standing still, but after a while I slowly pass.

I have EVERYTHING done to my Audi TT too. It's just not very fast at all, even after tuning properly...

Mine has 396 HP with the Stage 3 Turbo and all the go fast goodies...

Oh yeah, get the 3rd stage lightening, triple plate clutch, everything, every car that you get, make sure(you don't have too, but it's fun) you get EVERYTHING possible for it performancewise, including sport brakes and racing suspension. It really helps, and is awesome seeing the outcome of your car after modding compared to stock...

How about settings for the transmisson, suspension, and the differential in particular.

I really just want to win the TT series since I spent like an hour or so to buy the car and all the upgrades.

And isn't that Special Stage 11 a bitch!

I always set the transmission to where it's pretty damn fast when taking off, and has a decent(make sure it's higher than those you are racing) top speed. I haven't really done too much to the suspension, but I'm workin' on it. As far as differential, haven't touched it yet.

Good Luck

The car is slow enough that you can keep the suspension pretty stiff, and still maintain some room for error.  First, cut off ASM and TCS.  The car is too slow to need them, and it will push to far in turns.  Drop your geraing until you bounce the tach during the longest straight in whatever course you are running, and lift up the differentials to maintain speed in turns.

Lightening is expensive, but by far the best thing you can do.  Even if you only lose 50 Lbs, thats worth the 20k.  Remember, acceleration is roughly Mass^2/power (i think) but if your car weighs twice as much, you need four times the power to accelerate as fast (traction aside)

For pretty much any kind of racing except drag racing, you want the car as light as possible. The less work the components are doing, the more performance you'll get out of them.
