Hey folks- GT5 noob here.
I did some searches but didn't get too far and gave up.
I'd been playing around with Nurburgring times with some stock cars. The Mustang GT sucked, the Challenger was actually pretty good and the Camaro was great in comparison.

SO- I planned to tune the Mustang as a faux 302. HP, weight, suspension in line with the Boss. Trans tuning would make a huge difference but I cannot get the ratios to match. The slider for 4 - 6 will not go low enough and the final drive is bottomed out before I get to 3.73.
For the record, 1st - 6th: 3.66, 2.43, 1.69, 1.32, 1, 0.65

Can I calculate the ratios to be the same if I raised the final drive?

Try this:

1.Set trans to default
2.Set Final Drive to max
3.lower the top speed with the slider till you can get all gear ratios (by checking all the gears at the same top speed)
4.set the gear ratios
5.move final to 3.73 or whatever you wish
6.done

Hope that helps :)

I owe you a beer! That worked- I had to set the top speed to 168, 3.73 gears and the rest was within a few tweeks. I'll have to mess with it but this will be enough to get Ford back in the running against those Chevys.

Which one of the Mustangs do you use and what tuning parts did you add?

I tried with a premium V8 GT and got some weird gear settings. :(

With all the specs i think it's possible This is a 5000cc , the GT premium is 4605cc ,difficult to have the torque at same power.. but can go close to this !!!
