You made a more than fair offer, see if it still is on the lot at the end of the month.

Clean trade-15,725

Yeah my offer is $17,500 out the door though, including taxes, etc. He said they would need to come down like $3500 on the car to get in that window and it's not gonna happen. I need to search some more dealer sites tonight (those damn things are so annoying with the chat window popups and stupid tool bars) but here's what's on my test drive list so far:

2011 Mazda3 Sport Manual Trans
2008 Jetta Wolfsberg Edition DSG Trans

Today is the day. Have several cars to check out including a Subaru Impreza wagon, Civic Si, Golf GTi, Acura TSX, Kia Forte SX, and the Jetta and Mazda3 from the last post. Gonna be a long day. :)

I know you said no civics but that is honestly the best one there value wise in terms of depreciation and it's in the top few in bang for the buck. Out of those I would also discard the forte right away but it never hurts to test drive it.

Mazda3 was an instant no as soon as I opened the door and smelled the smoke. On the way out saw an RX-8 so we stopped but it was an auto trans. They also had three Altima coupes with the 3.5L but they were all CVT's. :yuck: Funny part was the salesman tried to tell me they didn't offer a manual transmission in them. I was like, uh yeah they did...

Uh, that would in fact, not be a fair offer.

17,5 otd is like, 16 selling price in most states. That would be one hall if a deal and almost definitely a loser to the dealership.

Here's a quick cell pic. Better pics tomorrow. :)

Considering it smelled like a ashtray they surely low balled the original owner to 14,000 on trade in and will likely end up breaking even when it goes to auction in 3 months.

Looks good RT.👍
