Turbo Event- Best Car To Tune?

Hey I'm new to the forums here but I love GT5 and hope to learn a lot from everyone on here. I'm doing well in the game consistently winning races but I'm wondering what is the best car to acquire and tune for the Turbo event? I notice a lot of the cars I currently own are not able to be turbo'd or they simply aren't worth adding Turbo to. Would be great to get some info on this topic.

the list continues...

but my favourite has got to tbe the supra rz - 725hp max
it can be tricky to find though
 
Hey thanks for the reply. I just won a 350z and was actually thinking of doing some work to it, so that's great to hear.
 
One of the nice features of the game is being able to review the competition before actually entering the race. When you click on the event and see the single races listed on the screen, you can click on one of the races and then click on the "Typical Opponents" icon to see a list of cars that will be used. That is the first place I look for which car I will try to use for a specific A-Spec or Seasonal race. 👍
 
Impreza, Supra, Corvette ZR1, Saleen S7, Silverado SS, Ford Mustang SVT Cobra R, there aremany awesome cars to tune

My personal fave is the RUF CTR2 or any of the RUF's. Just a beautiful car and I enjoy the engine note. Also the F40 another beaut.
