No its not in the game... The Escudo just has a very late spooling point so it takes a certain RPM to get it to work the escudo is like at 6k or somtin.
The Vitz is just a weak car/van hard to notice anything in a weak car/van
The Vitz is a car, and I do believe there is turbo lag in GT3. I'm not sure, but it seems like there is. Maybe one of our gifted members like Famine, Der Alta or neon_duke can clear this up.
Wildcard, it doesn't take any of those "gifted/special" people to clear it up. It's very apparent in the cars, drive the escudo stock..then drive the escudo with it's max turbo upgrade...same goes for the vitz..same goes for the trueno and alot of other cars...it's a very very apparent difference.
There is certainly something there when you drive a car before and after a turbo upgrade, and considering all the work done on this game to make the physics of the cars realistic, I would be willing to bet that it is incorporated.

Unfortunately, GT3 doesn't show as much turbo lag as it should. Even with stage 4 turbos, the Silvias do not show lag like they should, but, o well, the game is still fun.
Well Toyomatt,you can't really expect them to show anything at all. There is no turbo size given when you upgrade, so for all we know it's a new intake and exhaust housing and some new bearings....now if they said "Stage 4 upgrade includes a T04R" then it'd be safe to say.
Alright, so there is turbo lag. I thought there was anyway. As for the gifted members part, I just wanted to say that to see how people were going to react!

Same goes for when you have a turbo on a car, and you pull away (in GT3), the boost is not full in 1 or 2nd gears, only from 3rd and up, what is that about ? Even though you press the button as hard as you can in all the gears ?
That's call turbo lagg.....The bigger the turbo...the more time it'll take to spool up, that's about the right gear for the spool up to happen so what's the problem you're seeing?
