For those interested I finally found a "real" turbo kit for Vipers.I was on business at West Coast Vipers in SoCal were the service manager has a twin turbo viper he drives 140 miles round trip every day to work.He claims 800 HP which seemed kind of a stretch until we went on a test ride.My Viper puts out 650 HP and this turbo car felt like twice that!! We were cruising along at a 100 mph and Jason , the ownwer, says watch this!! He mashed the thottle and the back tires went up in smoke!! IMPRESSIVE!! This car has ceramic ball-bearing turbos, remote oil holds for each turbo, intercooled of course and beautifully crafted stainless plumbing. The cars has thousands of miles on the same kit. It is an amazing bolt-on considering the motor is all stock!! Im not a big blower/ turbo fan, but this really has got my interest now!Check it out- really clean and quick!!:eek:
 
Hennessey Motorsports has been putting turbos on Vipers for a couple years now.
 
yeah I've seen some turbo'd Vipers at drag races on TV, I seen one run like 7 seconds in the 1/4 Mile at some big redneck drag event on Horsepower TV

Hennessey has had a Turbo kit for a LOOONG Time, i mean every since the Venom 800TT came out, now I believe they're up to like a 1010 HP kit or something like that. And yes it's a KIT
 
what's the point of having that much power if u cant put it on the ground??

or, can u if u had slicks?
 
its not the Vipers fault the ground cant keep up:lol:

Wasn't the Viper Stryker twin turbo kit the first to put a turbo on a viper?
