I wasn't able to find a similar suggestion; please direct this thread to the appropriate place if it's already been posted.
I'd like to see a Turn or Section mastery feature. This would entail being able to take any available car on any available track and practicing a particular segment shorter than 1 lap. For instance, one could practice La Rascasse over and over again to try and learn the turn without having to go through all the turns before it.
Implementation might include the ability to set the start location, start velocity, and end position. The track details (start and end position) should be independently saved from start velocity so multiple start velocities can be compared . There should be some kind of leaderboard implementation that enables the user to compare times of this segment in various cars/setups and start velocities.
Additional features might include the ability to save scenarios to attempt again and share them with others.
In any implementation, a turn or section mastery feature would be an extremely powerful way to leverage the simulation nature of GT6: turn or section mastery would be much easier to simulate in the game than reproduce in any scenario in real life, even.
