A couple of days ago, I had a power surge and the surge protector activated, sending no power to my PC which was on at the time. I was listening to some songs with Windows Media Player, and turning off the computer while this is running is a big no-no.

Well, after I turned my PC back on, I get a message stating that WMP failed due to some infection, or whatever, cuased by a bad third party plug-in, which is not true, and all my third party plug-ins have been shut off. So, how do I turn them back on? I ask this because I'm trying to use my Real Player, and it wont work, nor would it even load up. I keep getting an error message stating it had to shut down, everytime I tried to use it. Real Player online help was no help.

I'm using Ad-aware 6, and Spybot, so could this be a problem, too?

EDIT: Oh, WMP works fine. So does QuickTime.

Perhaps reinstall WMP and Real, see if that helps.
Yeah, that seems like a last resort kind of thing. Right now, I want to know how to turn back on all my third party plug-ins, since there might be others I'll need in the future. I've tried a Google search, but nothing came up. Somebody here must know what the hell it is I need.
