Turning LMs into a Drifter...

Now Don't Give me anymore Crap about previous posts.. Because they're aren't, and don't talk back about it, because you're not going to solve anything.

I was inspired to drift a R92CP by Sheron..
So far, I drifted a Toyota 7 and R92CP..
I have a Minolta 88C-V and will soon get other Race cars to drift. Does anyone have any recommendations as of broad settings of a LM that would be best suited? What I mean is, any particular settings that should be taken into consideration when tuning, such as Spring rates..

As for your question... I don't drift these cars that often (or that well, tbh), but they have been the topic of a few conversations with ske lately - although, we didnt get too involved in it.

I'd probably begin by raising the ride height a little to promote greater lateral weght transfer. Doing so would also allow the spring rates to be softened a bit, which should help to rid the car of some of its twitchy behaviour. -- I've always found LM and Touring cars to be much twitchier than what I can successfully handle.

As for the rest... it'd go a lot by feel, so can't really help you there...
On almost all cars I find it necessary to soften the dampers a little, but this is probably more of a personal thing.
 
OOPS SORRY! I JUST REALIZED I POSTED IN THE WRONG FORUM... But how do i fix it? Can someone move it for me please?
 
usually they are very testy, like i have a 830hp Blue and Silver skyline that i cant remember the name but even though it has power it wont start spining the tyres until very late in a gear.

But i have nearly perfected my Aspiriadrink Rx7 - Its seen in my new video, the last clip.

Lots of throttle control!? Sigh, I was thinking of drifting a LMP soon, is there a easy way to drift without the worry about serious throttle control? What if i kept Tapping full throttle?
 
Okay well Apparently,Since its my first ever post after my 14 day ban, I realized drifting LMs is quite straight forward, but tricky. It really is a lot on the throttle control. I actually don't need any more recommendations, i just need some practice. Does anyone esle have something to say aobut Drifting LMs? Otherwise, i'll get this thread closed..
