i dont know if this is the right forum or not but...

me and a buddy are looking at tv's and audio systems for our dorm room next year. we are looking at flat screen tv's (projection) from 27" to 36" and around $500. a widescreen would be nice also. we are also looking at audio systems less than $350. it doesnt matter if it comes with the dvd player or not, but the ones ive seen with the dvd player arnt really that much more expensive. it needs to be a complete system with speakers (and sub) and a receiver

i need suggestions on which tv and system to get. post links if you can too.

Well, as far as an audio system, you can't go wrong with Logitech's Z-680s. They have a built-in Dolby Pro Logic decoder and work wonders for surround sound and music. They retail around $250 depending on where you look. I bought mine from New Egg.

Computer speakers for a whole room?

I'd go with more of a system suited for that. Although, I do hear those speakers sound pretty good.
