Our HD TV recently started having problems. We have a samsung hd tv. For some reason, the tv keeps turning itself off and back on again. When it's done that, sometimes certain things on screen change colour. Sometimes the tv just goes black without turning off.

We've tried changing the HDMI cables and ports for the TV and PS3, but to no avail.

If anyone could offer any tips that would be great! We'd rather not buy another tv as the warranty's run out. I've heard that components of samsung tvs are cheap/ not powerful enough.
 
First off, is it a Plasma TV or a LCD TV? Second, what is the model number? I'm not an expert in TV's but some other people may have knowledge and they would need to know the answers to those two questions. Otherwise, contact a TV repair company, as a company that has been in business for a while should know what they are doing. You can ask them to check it and give you an estimate.
