Hi i wondered if someone could look at my setup for my TVR and see where it can be changed.

I'm by no means a tuner, so play about on how a car feels, but cant seem to stop the front from being very heavy in some mid to tight corners. its an animal around Spa, and has even been able to beat a Focus RS at 500pp, but anywhere else like Grand Valley its very slow and struggles to take the corners well.

Its 500pp with SS tyres and this is what i'm running:

Suspension:

R/H 96 110
S/R 5.95 5.28
D c 3 3
D e 3 3
ARB 3 3
C/A 1.0 0.0
T -0.06 0.10

Diff
10
20
18

Brakes 6-7

Anyone who can tweak or lead me in the right direction?

Are you running any ballast? What is the current weight distribution?
Try lowering the rear ride height a little as it can kill the cars rotation (if the car becomes unstable raise the LSD Initial). Remove the front camber (camber only seems to reduce grip in gt6).
You can encourage initial turn in by running Front Toe out/ Rear Toe in (eg. -0.20/0.20) but this will lead to losing front end grip in the mid/late cornering phase.

bring the ride heights closer togethjer

stiffer rear springs than front
try front dampers of 3 c / 5 e, rear dampers something like 4 c / 5 e.
rear ARB higher than front
no camber

the car is running 90kg of ballst to bring it to 500pp and is used to make 50/50 to keep the weigh spread which has helped nicely, but still washes wide. I'll have a play wiht your advice and see if it makes any improvement

Thanks chaps

Well what a difference a tune makes.......

96 96
6.71 7.10
4 3
5 5
4 5
0.5 0.0
-10 0.10

Just doing this has taken the understeer completely and a quick lap of Grand valley east produced a 1.03.1 whic is a lot quicker than before, mid to late 1.04's

Try this

R/H 82 82
S/R 5.85 6.31
D c 3 3
D e 6 6
ARB 3 3
C/A 2.0 2.0
T -0.51 -0.21

ballast 105@44 (1050kg car) engine 98%

You might be able to improve on that. There's a lot of time to be found with settings for grand valley.

Had a little play about with this setting, have to say its transformed the car into feisty little beast, it might do with slightly stiffer springs to stop the body roll, but will leave as is, as i dont want to ruin what i have now

Cheers for that!
