TVR + Germans = Madness!

TVR in Germany have released a modified version of the T440R, apparently its wasn't fast enough!

Called the T550R it take a T440R and adds a Supercharger, the end result is 4.2 litre straight six producing 550bhp and 550nm of torque. In a car weighing 1045kg, thats a power to weight ratio of 526bhp per tonne.

Should be fairly mad.

don't forget that in germany there's high ways without speed limits so there cars haft to be faster. besides whats wrong with making something faster.

Don't worry, I know all about German Autobahns, fastest I have ever driven was on one (155mph in an M5).

Your right, nothing wrong with speed and nothing wrong with a supercharged TVR.

I just hope we don't see to many muppets driving them, 526bhp per tonne is one hell of a lot of power in a car with no electronic driver aids or passive safety devices (no traction control, ABS, stability control or airbags). Good job its built around an integral roll-cage.

Not always a good combination when someone runs out of talent on a public road.
