Hello all,

I'm thinking of to buy a second hand equalizer/amplifier, and make a log of all the favourite cars I drive in GT6, with the right 'mapping' of the sounds, you should have a better ambiance/atmosphere during an event. Am I Right about that?

Also I'm curious what an AM-tuner could do the trick? Like the fact you could hear your own car on the radio on the AM tuner, it would be possible to hear gt6 too.
With some tuning, you should hear the engine sounds of Gt6 in different tones and levels than you could ever hear with GT6 itselfs. And with an mix-panel, you could make your own engine sounds? :) :D

I have a Equalizer/PA Mixer. It doesn't make too much of a difference, and the tyre noise only gets worse. Also you may notice its the imperfections that have been removed from the car sound which make it sound like a vaccum cleaner.

However, they have returned it into cars such as the X1 Both kart and car. You'll hear the pops and crackles. The accelerater almost control the loudness of the car. Like if you back off you cars volume instantly drops. You can't tune much, only extract the bass, mids and highs. But because the imperfections of the sound aren't there. You won't gain much improvement.

Garbage in, garbage out. There's no improving GT's sounds until they actually make quality recordings to begin with.

I remember messing around with eq on GT5. From memory 8kHz was almost solely responsible for the the vacuum cleaner. Notching it out and compensating directly around it did quite a lot actually.

Pretty sure the "too accurate" thing is correct and the mic-ing was too direct. Seems they then tried to add "air" to the sound, but only managed to create a new issue. Removing that misguided attempt was the first thing I did. It is worth trying to "ugly" it all up a bit.

The phasing is not really going to improve at all though.
