Two Liter Tuner Series

Judging interest in a casual series for 2-liter tuner cars. It would be a for-fun series with all skill levels welcome.

Rules would be:

Street Cars and Tuner Cars. No Race Cars. Maybe Race Mods... Not sure. Thoughts?

Engine - 2 Liters or less - No rotaries (sorry Mazda guys, those 2-rotors are equal to a 2.6l piston engine)
PP - 500
Tires - Sport Soft
ABS - OK
TCS - OK
SRF - NO
(don't really care about other aids - they just slow you down anyway)

It would have to run Sunday or Monday evening, Pacific Time.

If interested let me know what day(s) and time range works best. I'll set it up to work for the most people.

Just a few examples of cars that qualify... There are many more interesting 2-liters in the game.

I believe the game has the Japanese version. It's a right-hand drive and the engine says 2 liters. I was actually somewhat surprised because I thought it would be the 2.5 also.

What time range works for you? Same question to everyone. I'll try to set it up so it works for the most people.

I'm not going to be much longer. At Nurburg GPD I tried 3 cars. I ran best 1:36.5 tonight. Not a fantastic time but I'll use it as a starting point.

Also I'm thinking about including race mods. Not race cars though.

I put up a practice room for a while today. After running some laps with race mods I think we'll allow them. The Sylvia is not competitive unless it's RMed. Same for the Golf. The 111R is DEFINATELY competitive RMed or not. Fastest lap time today was by a 111R (not driven by me). My fast lap was 0.3 seconds behind that in the Amuse S2000 R1 (not the GT1 race car).

Some guy had a RM civic and it was darn fast in a straight line but he kept sliding out every corner. I believe that was his lack of skill rather than a deficiency in the car. He finally announced "This tire restriction BLOWS" and left the room. I imagine he's used to rooms where everybody uses RS tires and SRF.

Race length - 20-25 miles

Series length - 6 weeks

For Tracks I think:

Nurburg GPD
Trial Mountain
Deep Forest
Rome
Grand Valley
Suzuka

Possibly put in one of my custom Eifel courses, maybe in place of Rome...

Some are more equal than others. The race mods and tuner specials (and any lotus) will be competitive. I think the Integra will be competitive also, but I suck at driving FFs so it's not for me to judge.
