Two Schuppans 962CR's!?

-> Its been itching me for the past few weeks but I'm confused on regards to the rare Schuppan 962CR super car. According to Google Image Search, there were two different types of the 962CR's:

^ At first, I said "what!?" But whats the deal between these two? Oh well, I just like to share to y'all! :)
 
It is said that before Schuppan created the 962CR, he had 2 other cars that were basically, modified 962Cs. 1 of the 2 was converted to road use, while the other wasn't changed much at all from its racing days. These cars are supposedly known as the 962R models.

Looking at the bottom car, I'm guessing it is one of the R/LM models seeing as it shares a lot more bodywork with the 962C than the 962CR pictured above.
