I likey.
Looks great, feels great (SIM on), tight racing, 10 real life circuit, 39 bikes, tough 72 challenges, 5 year expert championship mode with chance to switch teams, rain, and new 'stoppie' and 'burnout' mode.
The circuits look fantastic, especially when you can see several bends ahead. All of the circuits have been designed based on real course data and it shows. Sachsenring, a tight technical circuit can easily be a go-kart track. With many variations in altitude, this particular track is very exciting to race on.
There are bronze, silver, and gold times for the 72 challenges. And they are plenty tough. First 40 or so are pure learning challenges where you have to complete a certain section of a track (usually about 20 seconds). The remaining 30 or so are much harder, consisting of full lap(s) with conditions such as no collisions or off track for 2 consecutive laps while meeting a lap time requirement.
I have only completed my first 'beginner' championship of 5 races and I came in 6th overall. A higher position would have been possible if I did not run off so many times. Certainly more challenging than GT3 IMO (although not as much variety in race vehicles). I look forward to intermediate Championship and in particular the 5 year championship where you have the choice of switching to other teams when their requirements are met!
Also, completing the challenges will unlock the legend mode where you get to race against the motorcycle racing legends such as Michael Doohan.
So far, I have been enjoying MotoGP2 quite thoroughly with no complaints.
