Ok, I got the game. The game everybody was talking about. As I said before, the graphix are ok. Looks more like one of the latest game for PSX before putting the console to sleep. My huge problem is about the handling. I mean, the cars feel so heavy to turn, and braking is another problem, it doesnt have enough braking power. Does this game supports the Dual Shock2 sensitivity? I cant brake on-time before hitting a truck/cab in front.

Since when u can make such insane drifts and powerslides on such little space like these maniacs do on this highway? Could it be that the physics are flawed too?

I am just trying to get the perfect car. Should I spend almost all my cash on a "A" class car, or spend a fraction of it on a "C" and using the rest on upgrades?

It feels like it takes forever to make an upshift on this game... so bad it is that I am constantly downshifting to hit the revs and upshift again. Like I am constantly losing power even on straights!

And last which game has the closest-to-life physics GT3 or TXR0.

Oh I forgot, in the "system" menu, what the hell is the difference between setting the SP level on real and normal....?

I don't know what to say to most of that.:thatsodd: As for the gears, try screwing around with the final gear, I had the same problem, but I got it fixed.:p:o And saying that it's more like a latest PSX game? No way, psx could never have graphics that good(even if they aren't the best for PS2 standards).;) Oh, and as for which car to buy. Spend your money at the beginning on reducing the weight of your car, hp upgrades, and all the drivetrain stuff.;) Don't spend any money on making your car look better yet, as all the early parts do is add weight, and we don't want that now do we?;):p I'd say, as soon as you get 100 grand or so(preferably a bit more), go and buy an R33, or R34.;)

All of the cars in TXR0 are heavy.

Never break in TXR0. It slows you down too much. Just run into the barriers.

TXR0 doesn't support sensitivity from the DS2.

Every car on the street will try to block you.

TXR0 isn't a sim game, it's an arcade game. So you can make wicked powerslides. Even my bathtub 3000GT made some awesome slides.

Mess with your gear ratios. High for first and second gears. Medium for third and low for fourth, fifth, and sixth.

If you have a turbo, it will gradually decrease engine acceleration. I got around 3 battles before the 3000GT wouldn't even reach enough revs for forth gear.

Obviously, GT3 is more realistic.

SP Real means that when you're in a battle, if you hit the barriers or walls, it decreases your health bar. SP Nomral doesn't decrease if you hit the barriers or walls.

 wtf!!!???

That means u can even unlock more "dress" parts??

As far as todays goes on accomplishments, I have done none

I am still choking on my brakes.

I am trying to get the handling on this game as closest as GT3 can do.

Think backwards for TRX0: instead of increasing your springs, put them into negative numbers.
Set your accel to max and steering to max and then braking to 2-3.
When you run into those wicked turns keep your thumb on the accelerator, and tap the brakes with the tip of your thumb.

And buy the best Class A car you can afford for the first few races.
I ran the 4WD celica until I had enuf to get an R-32 and now I only have two cars in my garage, the R-32 and a Viper.
The Viper is really fast but handles like a well-thrown brick. I only open it up on fairly straight places.

Also remember that your car will handle better than the other cars. You can pass on the clover leafs.

I use the viper for most of the races. I goto the part of the track (which you will unlock later in the game) which has alot of straights. There the viper is almost unstopable, because there are very little turns and many straights. The other cars in the game will always try to block you from passing them. The other cars (non-racers) will occasionally change lanes and get in your way, but don't sweat it. If you lose just catch up the car5 agian and race them once more. When you are challenged by a "13 devil", if you lose then you should just keep trying to beat him until you do.;)

First car I had was a Lancer. It was the cheapest of them all and it was the best car for the money (IMO). As I recal I even had some money left over for a few minor, but crucial upgrades.
