Hey all, I have been doin races in hard tires, seeing which cars eat through them the most. My Zonda Race Car and my GT-ONE Race Car just go through tyres like theres no tomorrow.lol.

Anyone know of any other cars that do this ?
Let me know ;)
 
You can't get any tires for an F1. (Kinda annoying).
 
Apart from the Medium tires it comes with...;)

That's why it eats tyres - because you can only get Mediums. :grumpy:
 
The most "hungry" circuit is Grand Valley Speedway.
So never wear supersofts there.
 
I don't use Super Softs anywhere. On Mediums I have to pit in like 4 laps in the F1 if I'm going hard. :grumpy:
 
Apricot hill can chew tyres pretty hard as well, especially F1's
 
SSR11 is surprisingly light on tyres. I can slap an F1 around there for 7 whole laps before the tyres start to go red.

yep, just not quick enough this morning, only got home from work 30 mins ago, been online since
 
What sorta T1s you running? I'm somewhere in the 11 sec range. Too high. :grumpy:

The C5R eats front tires to the point that it is a useless car in any race wear tire wear is turned on. Plus it handles like a garbage scow once the fronts go orange.
 
yeah it's kinda wierd the way that the C5R eats the front tires so much when all the horsepower is going to the rear tires :odd:
 
Maybe it's the weight of the V8 that wears it down...:|
 
i think it's because it's kind of a front heavy under steering race car in real life...and i think the F1 tires, medium or not, are the best in the game, they're what most of the experienced hybriders use on their fastest rigs...you want to be frustrated? try the zonda c12s street car in a pro series 10 lap race, trying to keep up with that evil AI gt40 after your tires (yankee spelling) go south...:odd:
 
oh, by the way, i dodge vipers in a jetta...
 
i think gt-ones(road) are great on tires. i use mediums, and when my fronts get red, my rear stay yellow, until way after. when i beat the pd cup(had to do it fast...all i wanted was the black and yellow f094/s;) ) well anyway, i would usually go the whole race on them.
 
Yeh me too, when I used it for the PD cup, the GTone Road had great tires...they lasted for ages/ :)
 
The Toyota Altezza Race car, eats front tire's like nothing i've ever seen before, which is too bad cause its actually a really nice car in races with no tyre wear :boggled:
 
oops nearly forgot one: the Tickford race car, chews the fronts really bad
